Which magazines do you read?
«

Morning girls!
I'm doing a little bit of personal research and was wondering if you could tell me which magazines you read and why you like your particular favourites?
I read virtually none except when I'm in the hairdressers, but they're mostly of the "celebrity gossip" -type (which quite frankly bore me rigid) so I'm not in touch with what's out there.
Many thanks as always.

Hi. I get 'Good Housekeeping' regularly (took up a subscription when it was on special offer!). Most months has some interesting articles and useful health pages.
Occasionally have a peek at 'Hello' and 'OK' for the gossip ...!

I don't buy magazines that much but if I do I buy Good Housekeeping
or Essentials.
Morwenna- I have read Yours and I would recommend it too!

I buy Top Sante, Psychologies and Woman's Weekly.
I store them up and pass them onto my friend.

Till recently my regular weekly was Grazia, but got fed up with paying for heaps of adverts. However I really do like my No 1 magazine, but think it's only available in Scotland as most of the stuff in it is Scottish based.

Like Fleurie I haven't bought magazines in years, I just wait for my DD to finish with hers and then I pass them on to my neighbor.
I've always believed in recycling.

Don't read any these days. Might take a look at Yours and No I next time I buy my TV guide.

I used to read lots of mags but it's hard now to find something new in them. Every season it's the same articles: diet before Christmas, diet after Christmas, diet for the holiday... Nothing new under the sun! I'm sure the journalists just dust off last year's feature and change the odd word.
In the hairdresser's I read the celeb type mags and don't know half of the people in them either.

Occasionally buy Sainsbury's Magazine, I think "Yours" is aimed at the older age group. My Mum reads it regularly, she's 83.
