Bit grey and drizzly here. I don't have to go into work until this afternoon so will miss out on having to supervise a wet playtime - shame!

So glad we go away to the sun next month, don't think we are getting a summer here.

Although I love the winter I do hope that you summer-lovers get your summer. It's bad for the wildlife for a start if it stays as cold as this!

Not been too bad here today. I actually washed my Windows......doesn't happen often.
It's still cold though.
First squirrel of the year in the garden today. I must get it some food.

changes can be scary, even when we want them

Squirrels have gone to wherever they go to at this time of year ....... there are signs of hedgehogs
and I found our first blackbird fledgling yesterday. It began raining at 2.00 p.m. yesterday and didn't stop until 3.30 this afternoon
so we went for a walk in the bluebell woods ......... and it has been sunny since
- not much warmer but at least sun did shine ..........

Blooming freezing here today. "April showers bring forth May flowers", or so the saying goes. Half of the trees still haven't turned green yet.

We have our annual summer fair today
http://www.cuerdenvalleypark.org.uk/
and its pouring with rain and likely to be all day, its such a shame and it happens almost every year, I can only remember two very hot ones when we ate pork off the pig with applesauce baps and listened to a quartet in the walled garden.

Same here. We had a BBQ yesterday and it was beautiful.
Think it's to be dry for the rest of the week though.

Hubby bravely offered to go and collect our carry out. Didn't stop him.
. Weren't supposed to have carry out but sauce I added to home cooked vegetables was so vile I had to bin it. It's still dinging down out there.
