Yep - it's May
Heating is on. Extra jumper donned. Fuzzy slippers on. Only got half my gardening list done today

It's rained most of the weekend and its so cold.
I have a wooly jumper on and a scarf and I am waiting for the heating to come on very soon.
We are having salad for dinner......who's silly idea was that.....ooops mine.

Waiting for the heating to come on? I turned mine on early - my excuse was that my sons are home for the day (birthday celebrations for one of them) and they can't afford the heating on in their own house so I needed to make a fuss of them
Sounds like me last week - we had hot sunny weather last Monday and my son had "ordered" stew and dumplings as his birthday meal! He wouldn't change his mind!

After the lovely weather over the BH, it's depressingly back to normal.
Piles of washing building up, while waiting for dry weather.
Just can't get washing dry.

That's my excuse for turning the heating on - it's cheaper to heat the house and use the radiators rather than use the tumble drier.

I used to dry clothes on the radiators until I discovered it was a great way to get the wallpaper to peel off the walls...
I used to have a pulley in my last house it was great. Now I just have a rail and the tumble dryer which is in the garage.
Still raining here and saw on the forecast that there will be snow on the high ground tomorrow.
If this is global warming then you can keep it.

Couldn't believe it when I saw it on forecast. For goodness sake it's nearly mid May. Though it has been known to snow in May in the past. Let's hope it's short lived.

Blowing hard with rain
3C at 7.45 this morning. so OH told me after he went out to feed the birds.
Snow, or at least something white, on the hill / mountain opposite.
Fed up with this weather.
Like Honeyb, can't dry stuff on radiators, as black mould grows on the walls

How about radiator clothes thingys. I always dry stuff on radiators and no mould so far. Been doing it for 20 odd years now.
Been lucky getting stuff dried outdoors recently though. Very windy, freezing, but great for drying.

Clever birdie!
That is so darned annoying isn't it. I used to put food out for the birds, well actually our kids did and the birds used to use my washing line as a public meeting place then s&£t all over hubby's shirts.
