Another glass of wine Taz
Had a picnic in a hailstorm on Sat.; yesterday was bright and sunny but was indoors for most of it; this morning wind is COLD
but at least it remains dry

I had to put our heating on for a quick blast of heat. Looks nice but freezing cold out there.

My heating came on at 5 and will stay on until 11. It's very cold here.
Fed up with this and need some heat in my old bones.

Can't believe it's May in a couple of days. Seasons are all topsy turvy.

Might even be brave enough not to wear a jacket, if I can stay out of the wind!

Warm sunshine today we were tempted to eat outside but when the sun went in it felt cooler.
Didn't wear a coat just a light summer cardigan, it was so good to feel the warm sun on my face.

That's how I always read it as well - it means May blossom or to give it it's other name Blackthorn.
The "packed lunch" children ate outside today and I had to supervise - bah humbug - they MADE me go out in the sunshine!!
