We had the wind yesterday, dull at the moment.  It is supposed to pick up over the weekend.

It's been thundering, lightning and absolutely throwing it down for two days here - and tomorrow although forecast to be sunny is due to be only 16 degrees with more rain forecast for next week  :(

The sun's just begining to show himself....lets see if he can last the distance, doubtful though as there seems to be too many grey clouds...

Aberdeen update.  Huge cumulus clouds billowing high into the sky.  Thick black clouds scudding along underneath, heavy showers & very sticky!  Think we may get a storm at some point.  Golf was suspended in Inverness twice yesterday due to possible lightning strikes.  Where's the SUN??????  :sunny:  Need a brolly icon.  Larky?  ;)

Its lovely here and I hope it lasts. We had thunder yesterday but it soon cleared. Very humid though and the midges are out in force. ::)

Are midgies what we call 'no see 'ums'.  93 degrees here - 33.8C I think and humid.  The worst of the year for us.

Yep you can feel them bite but you can hardly see them. Some parts of Scotland are plagued with them.
Years ago I booked a weeks holiday for all the family. There was 8 of us in all and I booked two wood lodges in the wilds of Scotland. It was not until we were there that I discovered they did midge research a mile away from where we were staying. It was a nightmare.

I still like the hot weather...midges or not.
