Summer has started. Where I live we are getting strange summer weather. We had a really hot, dry spell during spring. Very hot spells, no rain, it was almost like summer. Now we are having heayy rain storms. It is if the seasonas are mixed up. Last time this happened we had torrential flooding in summer without the sun. Do I dare book a weekend away in cornwall hoping to laze on the beach.

Wish it was April again. Tired of rain. Though I have to say my grass is looking quite lush again after looking more black than green last month. We treated it with moss killer and it virtually killed the whole lawn. Fed it 2 weeks ago before the rain & now it won't stop growing!

"April" showers; black skies; hot sunshine; long walks; breakfast by the ponds ......... not much wrong in this area

Our heating is on too. I've even dug out my jeans again. I never wear them in the summer as they make me too hot, but not this year. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 21 degrees here & pouring rain! Fabulous!

Saturday always seems to be really bad on TV during the 'summer'.
Gets better into autumn/winter.

we are the same, OH like 'boy' stuff. Crime, shoot 'em up etc.
I prefer comedy/romcom.
Or a good suspense type film....with a hint of romance.
He's braving the weather & is cutting a tree down that died int he winter...we hoped it might make a comback, but no.

We take it in turns. He chose True Grit (the remake) last week, so it's my turn
