Neighbours had visitors who allowed their dogs to bark ......... until I did the "What R U shouting at, I eat bigger dogs for breakfast"  >:(

My list of hates:

lawn mowers
dogs left to bark especially when owners are at home (I could write a book)
kids screaming within hearing distance
people who move into the estate then cut down trees that give others pleasure  >:(  :'( [if she comes anywhere near me  :beat:]

NOISE  :beat:  for 8 years we put up with neighbours across the road he was keen on DIY.  Then he sold as he had run out of stuff to do , PHEW!

Sadly he has sold to another DIY-fer.  Who cut down two lovely trees on Sat = noise + destruction.  At 7.30 this morning a skip arrived  >:( with lots of reversing and banging.  Now he's chucking stuff into it  :steamed:

Annoying.  Too many people not aware of their effects on their environment.  Leave the tree alone and sit still!  As my mother used to say.   >:(

I swear to Buddha that I will be taking a hose of cold water to spray over the man opposite.

He's been cleaning 1 car now for 4.5 hours  >:(  :o inside and out.  Bonnet up, rag round all the innards, then a hose. But not a quiet hose, 1 of those spray it hard and get 'it all off' types ..........  I need to sleep  :-\.  I would like our windows open.  DH is almost having to sit on me to stop me going over as he doesn't like confrontation.

4+ Bl***dy hours  :'(.  It's not even his vehicle.  When I see his wife  [soon 2 B ex ...... ] words will B said!  Unless DH needs to go for a P!

I don't think there are any laws to prevent the washing of cars during the afternoon. I can see it's annoying for you though but I don't see that you'd get very far if you went over.  My neighbour is the same. Both of their cars are always gleaming. Takes hours each week. Mine gets cleaned every six months or so. I hope it's quietened down now for you. I don't sleep in the day but if you're used to doing that then I can see it must be difficult when others are going about their daytime activities .

He's still at the same car, now on the road side.  It does look better but I could have got the same effect within 2 hours.  :(

There is a noise issue.  From what I've seen he has washed it 5 times so far.  :o. Plus all that water going down the drains with all that 'product' with it!

Whereas in our Anglia Estate when it went quiet that was the time to worry  ;D

Blackbirds give an alarm call if there's a cat around.  The males produce a squeak when calling the nestlings out.
