If this wasn't so serious I would laugh.  How DARE they.

This is worth reporting to the British Menopause Society and to Dr Currie ......... if there is a list of the most stupid refusals this has to be top!

Do ring the Surgery and ask for Vagifem to be reinstated.  It isn't up to a surgery to make 'climate change' decisions against what patients require. Wonder which other specialities they refuse to support ?

How is the vagirux delivered if not by applicator?  My estriol/ovestin uses plastic applicators which are washable .......... as a meander, how much oestrogen replacement gets into the river systems - would they stop prescribing on that basis?  Probably ?

You've to re use the applicator clkd,not exactly hygienic, used to scrub mine like crazy.
They're definitely NOT the same and Drs can say that until they're blue in the face, my stomach cramps started about 2 days in,to using vagirux,went back on vagifem and fine, LOTS of women on here the same

I wash mine in the bath ....... then air dry.  I preferred the pessary which was discontinued.
