Hi just wondering if anyone had any advice or experience.Had a hysteroscopy and biopsy on Tuesday due to a polyp been found on the scan.Well there was no polyp and he was very happy very thin womb lining.so why did he feel the need to still do the biopsy worried sick now about the results, also I bled a bit the first day of the biopsy then nothing for 2 days but had a small bleed again today is that normal?

I would think it's normal, the area has been tampered with so will be a little upset.
Most medics will take a biopsy when doing an examination, it's routine so that there is a base line from which to work.
When do you get the next appt.?

I've had 2 hysteroscopys, I can't remember what my bleeding was like the first time, but the second time I only bled for a few minutes after the procedure then nothing for about 2 or 3 days, then I started again a bit, so I think it's normal.
I think they would always do a biopsy regardless, just to be sure.
