Don't think it's going to be anytime soon, just had the follow up appointment for after the scan and it's dated January 15th.
I'm assuming they know the scan wont be for a while otherwise it would be pointless  discussing it in 4 months time.

I had a CT scan for possible kidney stones when I was in hospital in New York. I had an ultrasound and cystoscopy when I got home. I don't know why one did a CT and nit ultrasound,  I didn't ask. I suspect New York tried to get as much travel insurance money as they could but they couldalso check my colon etc. I've had lots of mammograms. Never give it a thought about radiation.

Just a quick update. Had my CT scan 19th December to check on the kidney stone found in April after a routine pelvic ultasound scan for my bladder, that was all clear.
Results yesterday, turns out there are no kidney stones at all and kidneys healthy.
Apparently ultrasound are not reliable where kidney stones are concerned so glad now this has been confirmed with the CT scan.

:thankyou:  I think that you would probably have had symptoms had there been a stone present.

Good news for Spring!

Yes, it was always in the back of my mind, especially going on holiday alone in case it caused an emergency. But I never had any symptoms.  Also my travel insurance doubled in price!

Just got an annual one again now I've reported no kidney stone for the same price as two weeks with the stone.
