Both would be nice if thats ok.

I do know that it will be me eating curry as my mother could not possibly eat that spicy stuff.  ;)

In the late 1960s it was thought 'strange' when people in the UK began to eat curries on a regular basis  ;)

My Dad was very very bald. Well on top, he had the fringe thing going on around the outside. If that happens I would gladly take back the woman who looks like my mother.

This post cracks me up - it's so entertaining.  I'm so glad we can be light-hearted about maturity.

WINE!
OOH I'D LOVE SOME!  I feel even more "mature" after daughter's move.  For mature read old & decrepit!

I wouldn't mind a glass of Weston's Cider but don't tell that Strange Woman because she only needs to sniff the Sherry Bottle Cork and she's out of it (sorry Mum .... couldn't resist).

To the dear across the pond ladies: The old bitty is in my USA house, too.  I'd like to get rid of her, but she seems so pitiful at times.  I look at Joan Rivers and a few other frozen wax-like renditions of womanhood and then decide the old broad in the mirror ain't so bad (except for her midsection and dangling boobs).  Ah, youth truly is wasted on the young.
