Apparently this condition can resolve at menopause.  What has been suggested with regards treatment?

Is adenomyosis worse than endometriosis?
Adenomyosis and endometriosis are disorders that involve endometrial-like tissue. Both conditions can be painful. Adenomyosis is more likely to cause heavy menstrual bleeding. The difference between these conditions is where the tissue grows.30 Jan 2023

The coil has been suggested but I really don't want that, birth control, progesterone only ive tried but effected my mood too badly, so the next thing I'm trying is Provera and review in 3 months. Consultant talking about laparoscopy aswell. I realise adeno gets better in menopause but got to get there first but very much peri. I think Consultant think there could be endo aswell. Whatever its extremely painful

Periods are erratic, never know when there going to turn up. Not as heavy as they were, might get a few days of medium flow then extremely light but go on for around 8 to 10 days. Changing all the time at moment

That's what mine did  ::).  Fortunately without ongoing problems as you have.

Hopefully some1 with history of the Mirena will be along.
