Hi all

I ran out of utrogestan 2 days ago and cannot get hold of any locally at all. My prescription is with Lloyds Direct but they have had it for weeks and can’t confirm when it will be delivered.

Does anyone have any ideas where I could buy any ?

Also I have some of the 200mg vaginal ones which I can’t use in that way as they cause reaction but can I take these orally instead ?

Am desperate …

Have you tried calling all the chemists in your area? You can ask for your prescription from Loyds and take it to another chemist if they have some supplies.

Hopefully somebody will be able to advise you on the vaginal ones you have.

Hi Louey, they're the same thing. The only difference between Utrogestan 100 mg oral and the so called Utrogestan 200 mg 'vaginal' is the dose.

Agree with Flossiecake …. Try ringing all local chemists to find some. Otherwise, ask your GP to prescribe a different progesterone…Provera.

Could you try Pharmacy2U? I’m with them and had my Utrogestan delivered earlier this week, so hopefully they may still have some in stock.
