Kenyan journalist Alvin Kaunda was filming a piece to camera from a baby elephant orphanage in the capital Nairobi when he felt an inquisitive tap on his shoulder.

The emotional moment a chimp mum meets newborn

Mahle the chimp received a C-section this week at Sedgwick County Zoo in Wichita, Kansas.
Because of low oxygen levels, the infant son received medical treatment before meeting mum.

Has any1 looked at the bears that have required releasing from vehicles in US/Canada    .  Having trashed the bins outside properties they then climb into unlocked cars to have a Very Good thrash around inside

Yeah. I just know how dozy I am in the morning and wonder how long it would take me to notice I am driving with a bear in the back seat...

And call me practical, but imagine the insurance claim for that!
