Glad to read in another thread that you are a better and getting out and about now JuJu.

The doc advised me to use Beconase for a couple of weeks to clear blocked ears.  It has helped a bit but ears are still crackling and popping after 12 days use.  Has anyone else had this after covid ? i've never had over 22 days of popping ears after a cold.  I'm due an autumn booster jab this week so maybe that will sort it.  If not i guess it is back to the docs.

Tested negative today. Hadn’t bothered since testing positive. Need to know so I can book my vaccine, when we get home. One week of holiday left, but of course, neither DH and I have energy. So gentle, gentle. My asthma is still not brilliant. Low peak flow readings. So that zaps energy, if I’m not breathing easily.

Just went to throw the test thingie away and a faint line showed up….still positive then. 12th day.

If the faint line showed up after the time stated (mine is 15 mins) then it doesn't mean you are positive. I tested positive for 14 days. Is it still 28 days after testing positive for covid before you can have the booster?

Tests should be left for 30 mins to make sure, after that they can be thrown away as the result isn't valid.

If worried, do another test later that day and leave it for 30 mins.

The line disappeared before I threw it away!  ;D Yes, Taz, 28 days for over 50s. I booked my vaccine the day before I became I’ll, so have had to cancel. I presume I can still have the flu jab. Will check when I get home.

I had mine on Monday. The new one which is a mix of Moderna and Pfizer I think. Glands up under the arm which was injected and soreness but otherwise ok.

Their not feeling to bad, son in law had it first so is starting to get over it, DD has only just tested positive so she's at the beginning of it. Both have said it's just like having a bad cold . Neither have gone to work as they don't want to spread it but their works would have been happy for them to go in

I've had my invite for the booster for over 65 but going on holiday in a couple of weeks and appointments are too near to travelling and I dont want to be ill with the side effects, was worse than Covid last time.  Does anyone know which vaccine the new booster consists of please, Pfizer or Moderna?

I’ve had a booster today it was Moderna.  Also had an offer I couldn’t refuse. A flu jab in the other arm ! Done in one of our local city churches which was interesting.
