No Lycra involved ......... until we found historic MotoGP racing with men in leathers  ;D

Sat and watched a baby robin trying to be brave enough to enter the feeder for some meal worms  :-*

Same old.  Same old.  Needing help with our garden ...........  :-\  :'(

Just looking at ngs magazine to find a local garden to go to this afternoon.

An advert in there by WFGA for a scheme for a trainee for up to 2 days a week in a garden.

On quick read looks like trainees pay quite a hefty admin fee to join so I guess someone who is committed. You pay wage & give guidance/hand on experience. Doesn’t say how big or small your garden has to be.

It is called WRAG work & retrain as a gardener on wfga plus .org.uk

Tnx.  If ever we down sized I will offer my hours to somewhere that requires help.

Yesterday we met with friends not seen for 3/4 years, good to catch up.  This afternoon I decided that I needed to prune hard a rose and remove weeds in that border, then off to a garden centre for mulch.  Now it's too hot  ;D so watching Pro-cycling across SaltBurn .

Eaten a 2nd lunch  :o the soft cheese, strawberries and home made bread wasn't enough at 11.30.  Have had a thick slice of ready-cut ham on bread with tomatoes.  Stuffed now  :-\

Was going to weed more borders then the sun came out  >:(

Took my wee mum to her gynaecology appointment (to investigate bleeding). She was so nervous. The nurse was so nice - no hysteroscopy needed. A womb scan showed no thickening of womb lining but a bit of inflammation due to vaginal pessary. It was removed temporarily to allow healing and a bit of ovestin cream to moisturise. At least that's one bit of good news for her  ;)
I did get a laugh with her mind you. We were in the waiting room. She was in a wheelchair facing me, thinking we were alone. She is pretty deaf so she roars like a bull........"I've got 2 pads on just in case"  :o
I thought the wee man sitting along from her was going to fall off his seat laughing  ;D

Sat.  Not able to do much in this weather  >:(.  It will be lovely around tea-time, we sat out last night until 11.00 watching 1 small 🦔.  And moths as big as flying saucers  ;D
