Laundry, dishwasher, written and sent a few cards   8)

Put a 'find Wilbur' poster in our car and one on the window on the front door  :-\.  Sent e-mails to auction houses that deal with Country Sales so that people talk about lost working dogs.

Watched heavy rain  >:(

Fire lit, cuppa to hand.  📺 on.

CKLD I'm not able to drink on my medication - tea and soft drinks only! Lots of good food and company too though. ;D

Opened the 1st birthday gift/card - live plants so couldn't wait  ;)

Laundry, dishwasher, bird feeders: same old.  Same old.

Early happy birthday to you CLKD  :hbday: (just in case I forget next week) 🤣
Well, my “post menopausal doing stupid things” level hit a new low today  :o………..Dear God……..
Took mum a run to a local seaside town, got a carry out coffee with lovely niceties too (and there was a buy one get one free on the raspberry almond bake! Perfect, that’s a wee nicety for Mr Songbird later.
Drove to the front to let mum see the white horses and enjoyed our coffees and sweet treats 😋.
Now, Mr Songbird likes a tidy car so into the huge industrial bin went the Costa paperbag with empty cups and napkins. So far, so good but……………
I forgot to remove the extra cake and, more importantly, my purse, which was in the bloody bag  ::)
OMG, what a panic, because I could see the bag but couldnae reach it! What to do?!
They don’t call me resourceful Songbird for nothing! I took a golf umbrella out of the boot and hooked the bag (much like the “hook a duck at the fair”). Phewwwwwwww……question is, do I serve up the cake to Mr Songbird? 🤔 I reckon it will be ok  ;D

Yep.  Serve it.  If he grows hairs on his chest by the morning .........  well, simply don't mention the bin part  :whist:

Who noticed first, U or your Mum?

Tnx for the balloons .......

I've wrapped DH's packages etc., put away where he isn't allowed to go at this time of year ;-)

. He’s just had the cake with a nespresso and he looks fine to me!
I noticed that my purse was missing but it was mum that suggested using the golf umbrella  ;D

You make a Good Team - several years ago I invested in 1 of those pick-it-up thingies like old people have, great for when I put the wrong item into the Council recycling bins!  Which I do quite often  ::)

Will U B watching him carefully 4 the next 24 hours  ;D

That's a good idea CLKD. I'm going to order a "grab thingy" from Amazon. I reckon I'll need it sometime in the near future.  :o
I'll keep a close eye on OH, just in case he starts foaming at the mouth  ;D. Mind you, a germ or two does your immune system the world of good  ::)

Oh Jaypo, what a thought . The Bridget Jones knickers blowing up like a balloon. The best of it is, a load of seagulls were surrounding me, convinced I was going to feed them a tasty morsel. Blimey, it was like a scene from Hitchcock's "The Birds"  ;D
