We watched the 2nd one last night.  Really liked it.
War of the Worlds on Sunday.

War of the Worlds again  :o - I have it on CD with Richard Burton ....... apparently when 1st broadcast on the radio people panicked as they thought that it was a News Flash  :-\

My Mum remembers it here too.   I can't recall how the topic came up  :-\ but we listened to a lot of radio then and it was probably "I remember when ............. "  I love it.  But would never go into a live showing  :o

It was an Orson Welles recording in 1930s America.  Probably has been done here too but it was that original one that caused the panic.

I'm loving Doc Martin....Tom Conti was quest too...Caroline Catz,
Martin Clunes and Caroline Quentin are sooo good, as are all the cast..hope this is not the end.😢

When I was young  :) one of the highlights of my tv viewing was Miss World, I loved that event, apparently it still takes place  :o I had no idea, with all the controversy over women's rights I am amazed  :o
