True, knocked me bandy. Had heat stroke!
Still, we still need something better than what we've got now, don't we? ☹️

I like Ross Kemp when he takes part in honest documentaries which depict the difficulties in which some people have to live it makes me appreciate what a good country England is to live in despite all our daily moans and groans.

Have just watched the two episodes of Wild Bill and cannot make my mind up (Wed ITV 9.00) there is humour of a sort, the storylines wobbly and acting not sure. The storyline of an American cop coming to the UK to work is plausible. I will have to watch the rest to see what happens.

There is the repeat of Bargain Loving Brits in the Sun. I find this compelling even though I have seen it before. Those who take part in the show are such genuine people who really seem to care for one another and by their own admission live on very little money. Those who work have more than one job to make ends meet and those who live on their pensions are very resourceful making the most of everything and euro they have. Good luck to them.

Yes absolutely Krystal. It takes guts to leave everything and go live over there.
I wish em all the best too.

One doesn't need as much dosh in Spain though  ;).  My friend lived in Spain in the Winter (October-Feb.), Malta in the Spring (Feb.-April), kept a flat here when she wanted to see her family but rarely visited when it was raining here  ::)

I watched the programme about transgender and sport ........ I will probably watch it again on catch up as it was very technical.

Just watched the last episode of The Restaurant that makes Mistakes.  So moving and uplifting.  So pleased the experiment had such good results.

It is good that society is prepared to open up to make and watch programmes about those who are not so able, such as the TV programme The Restaurant which makes Mistakes. Those taking part had courage to be filmed. I read a caption once that said 'a mistake is evidence that someone tried to do something' how positive that saying is.

The last episode of Gentleman Jack is tomorrow, I have found it to be compelling to watch each week, Suranne Jones is a good actress to have taken the role on so well.  I have enjoyed watching this as women were historically subservient in society with very little power in their own destiny compared to what we have today. It makes me think aspects of her behaviour must have been outrageous and totally unacceptable but as always money can conquer all.
