Sheridan Smith is outstanding in her latest drama Cleaning Up on Wednesday ITV 9.00 pm, another of her brilliant portrayals of yet another aspect of modern day life.

Only watch it occasionally, if there is an interesting guest. Generally too annoying. Blue Peter for adults.

I'm not keen on the one show either.  The guests they have just seem to be there to promote their book or programme.  Do love Cleaning Up though.

I've only just started watching this and have seen 3 episodes so far (on iplayer) - the guy acting Jean Valjean is incredibly good and I found it so moving. He seems to really portray the emotions of his character so well but I don't know the story at all. There are some really excellent dramas on BBC - and some poor ones too!

Anyone watched the new series of  'Open All Hours' with David Jason?  Such a dearth of good comedy around these days vs 70s/80s
It was a gentle joy to swatch, talented actors with great comic timing and good script.

Catastrophe is hilarious, although this series is tinged with sadness as rob delanys son died before he made this one

Very disappointed in Les Mis over-all.  Had I not known the story and had I not wanted to see what difference it is to the musical, I would have dropped out half-way through the 1st programme.  Over-all it was well acted.  A bit too much at the Barricades [sp] for me earlier, could have left more time to get to the crux of the story.

Super Bowl anyone?
