We have all ‘The Cry' recorded.   Strangers is getting complicated and I feel it's lost it's way.

Kind of Taz ............ estate agents  >:( and Mother ...... nowt new there then  ::)

I found the trailer for The Cry too harrowing.  I would have liked to have known the end B4 watching it  ::) as the acting seemed good.

I am tempted to the programme where David Tennant is it would appear the father of an 'autistic' daughter, Rosie ......

Is it my age? I find many of the after 9.00 pm TV programmes on mainstream TV very upsetting. There seems to be a need for extreme violence and excessively bad language, nothing out of the ordinary from the news we hear about daily. The last programme after the 9.00 pm watershed I found I could watch without dreaming about it was " No Offence."  For me this was a black comedy with the knowledge that the goodies would eventually outsmart the baddies.

I also like to watch Countryfile, Coast V Country, A New Life in the Sun, Sun Sea and Selling Houses when they are on and I have time to watch TV.

Our generation has been brought up with TV and we know what good TV programmes are as they were innovative at the time. When the golden oldie programmes are resurrected and revamped to fit in with current times they are never the same and flop miserably. I know many young people who tell me how much they enjoy watching some old TV programmes.

People have more access to more media today and it must be very difficult to produce TV programmes which appeal to a wide audience and not a niche market.  In the meantime I will go on watching the repeats!  Happy viewing everyone.

I absolutely love watching QI. And I think it's even better now that
Sandi Toqsvik (don't know about the spelling) has took the seat.
Steven fry was brilliant, but I just like Sandi.

Mock the week is so funny too....

Me too JD, both those programmes. Do you watch QIXL as well? you see some funny bits on the extended version.

We like Celebrity Juice, League of their own, Question of Sport, The Last Leg & Get Shorty - Chris O'Dowd is in it.Did anyone see him on The Last Leg the other week? he was a bit drunk  :drunk: but ever so funny.

Also watch 8 out of 10 cats & the Countdown version.

I am tempted to the programme where David Tennant is it would appear the father of an 'autistic' daughter, Rosie ......

It's on in a mo CLKD & it's numerous in a good way, well worth watching.

Celebrity Juice is sooo, bad. Did you see what he'd done with Philip Schofields photo? Lmao.
Hilarious. Love his dress sense too, that lemon bloke. Lol.

'The Little Drummer Girl' on tonight. An older John Le Carre. Looking forward to it. He usually has a cameo role so will keep an eye out.

Loving Little Drummer Girl.  The bright dresses and period telephones are very distracting though.  Thank goodness you can rewind the television now!   ;D
