I missed that but my husband watched - Clare Balding is really quite interesting (and good value for money compared to other sports presenters  :-X )

..... her previous programme traced her back to William the Conquerer apparently  ::).  Now that she has found various 'routes' the World is her oyster, she can go to Holland to trace that part of the family story ...... it was obvious to me that the 'surname' was Dutch or Boer but to go back that far! ........ we'll all mongrels really  ;D

Yes.  She comes over as really down to earth, a person enjoying what Life throws her way.  Knowledgeable too.

It's been really good....

Also, ‘strangers', although I like John sim, I'm not over enthusiastic about this drama.
Take it or leave it, but as there's nothing else on of any interest to me, I'll take it...lol
