I have been watching The Loch on Sundays. It was not the best - more murders than Midsomer
but for some reason curiously compelling. Anyway, it ended, and the ending was a bit rubbish so that was a bit of a waste of 8 weeks, but the scenery was good.
I record The Handmaids Tale and watch it without the adverts. They keep changing the time to make it later (I think that is The Tour aforementioned
). I read it when my daughters did it for A level and the adaptation is really very good, but not an easy late Sunday watch, as it is a hard going at times. Hence recording it.
Poldark - I liked it the first time round with Ralph Bates as George Warleggan, and whilst I enjoyed the first series, it just is not as exciting second time around.
I think Dr Who is hoping for a ratings boost
