Michael Portillo's "Train Journeys".   Relaxing in our cosy lounge and following him around Europe.   Brilliant.

I was watching a film called The Painted Veil, about a woman who went to China with her husband in the 1920s and ended up helping out in a cholera epidemic.  There was a lot about getting married for the wrong reasons and adultery with a player in the ex-pat community, but the scenery and mountains were amazing!

Unfortunately, I needed a shower before bed and meant to catch up with the ending the next day, forgot, and by the time I remembered it was no longer on the I-player.  So I will never know what happened... unless they show it again sometime.

Did anyone catch the Seniors Tennis from the Royal Albert Hall this week  :-\ - usually I sit glued to the set even though I don't like tennis, as the doubles is usually such fun but couldn't find coverage anywhere  :bang: :bang: :bang:
