Countdown to Life was about the 1st 8 weeks from conception.  Crikey, it's amazing that the human race exists!  There is a family with many members being born with 6 fingers; seemed that they have an extra 1st finger ……. on each hand.  Looking forwards to the next episode.  Then watched Brian Cox in a new programme about science-related stuff …… not sure how that will pan out.

;D. It similar to the old video recorder but you don't have tapes. It's a hard drive. Very simple to use and well worth the money.

We got a humax box when they turned the analogue signal off, as we could only get satellite where I live.  The (not very) old dvd/video recorder is never used.

The best thing is that you can start recording something whilst you finish off a job, then sit and watch it from the beginning, 20 minutes later.  Or, you can rewind and watch bits again when it doesn't make sense.  If you start watching things a little later, you can ff through the adverts. ;D

Most of it is easy to use, but there are some annoying 'technology' quirks and I hope they have improved these since we bought ours.

This evening, I stuck the TV on, hoping that The Hairy Bikers would be on.........and they were!  I think they're brilliant.  They cook, travel, meet people who they seem to establish a rapport with, and have this fantastic humour/banter - all of this just gets me interested and laughing and forgetting the cares of the day.  I've just been watching their visit to St. Petersburg.  Wonderful.  They're such characters.  Love them to bits!   :)
