I watched the first episode of 'Three Musketeers' - couldn't tell whether it was supposed to be funny or serious. Anyway for me it wasn't a patch on The Tudors. Not sure I will tune in next week  ::)

AP probably  :-*   ::)

Lots on last night.  The art programme with Fiona Bruce and Philip Mould is always interesting and at least the painting turned out to be an original  :o .........

We treated ourselves to a new TV in the Sales - one of the "smart" TV's - it's fab and we're both loving it.  We've also taken out a Netflix a/c (£5.99 per month) so now have a huge choice of stuff to watch :)

We hardly have time to watch what is on  ::) if only Sat. night viewing was better we would be well served.  Usually everything that we are interested in seeing is on 'at the same time' as other Channels have stuff we would like to watch ::)

anyone watch the Naked Rambler last night? Pre programme I'd had some sympathy for him being persecuted. Not so sure now as he seemed narcissistic. Plus he wears a hat, socks and boots so can compromise on nudity when it suits him. Felt sorry for his poor old mum too.

Q for Greyhoundgal please. New Smart TV coming here soon too to replace our old one. Netflix - do they have a wide choice of films? Any old classic films or foreign films? We are still on a 2 DVD a month deal with Lovefilm and I see there's a Lovefilm app too. You can search Lovefilm for what they've got available, but Netflix seems to want you to sign up first?

Also am loving the Bridge 2.

Naked Rambler is trying to prove a point  ::) and as an aside, why are men allowed to go topless where they like but women ....... if we show too much the Police are called  >:( 'disturbing the peace', I hate to see men topless in crowded areas, food shopping etc..

Watched Paul O'Grady in Africa last night, a real wooow factor  :'(

Hi Oldhseep

Yes, Netflix has a wide range of films, old and foreign as well plus lots of series if you have missed them.  I think with Netflix you can have a free 30-day trial so that might be worth looking into?  We had already seen it had things on it that we wanted as my son was already with them.  Currently hooked on "breaking bad" and "modern family" but have watched quite a lot of movies as well :)
