Yes CLKD - I confess!! The main reason I am watching is because I want to see the musical when it comes to Scotland - mostly because my hero tim minchin is playing judas! I am curious to see who they pick for jesus - either that or I am seriously addicted to crap reality tv!  I'll let you decide  ;D

I've just realised that you must be talking about one of those Lloyd-Webber talent-spotting shows, CLKD. I thought that it was some religious programme. ::) Mind you, those are both things which I avoid like the plague!  ;D

I do usually but Jesus has always fascinated me as a movie/theatre concept.  I will watch with interest as the voting takes place  ;)

I am not a religious person but I came out of the film feeling brain - washed  :o .......... and I have followed the careers of Tim and Andrew from the beginning when Joseph went the rounds of many of the UK Schools  .......... although Cats never did it for me 'cos cats don't move like humans do  >:(

I am fascinated that tim is playing judas when most of his songs are anti - religion. I guess being offered such a great part in a musical would be hard to turn down. I will be glued every night to the tv show in case tim makes an appearance. It's my birthday in August and at the top of my list is tickets for jesus Christ superstar.

On another note I see that frank turner is coming to Edinburgh in nov - now I know nothing about him and his music but because of the praise he gets on this forum I am wondering ..... Xxx

mmmm....David Essex! He was brilliant in Superstar- and he is still gorgeous. Saw him in his play 'All the fun of the fair' a few months back and I am going to see him in concert in November.
