I'm watching Kelly & Her Sisters at 10.00.  It's 10 years since this family of 6 sisters, their Mum and her partner was on telly.  I remember watching it and thinking that these kids had nothing and lived in terrible conditions in a condemned council house but they were really bright and articulate and, above all, really cared about their Mum.

Let's hope it's a happy ending and that they didn't wait too long to get rehoused.

Mrs P I love Waterloo Road but have only got round to watching 2 episodes of the new series so far. I do hope my "ends" haven't been chopped off when I do watch them!

I do think the story lines are rather adult though and sincerely hope school nowadays isn't really like that. Our classrooms were almost silent as we were petrified of our teachers even though the worst punishment was either 100 lines or a detention! It was an all girls school though - no boys to disrupt/distract.

I suppose everything is sensationalised on TV to draw in the viewers ::)

Good program tonight on BBC2 at nine oclock   "Divine Women" series, with historian Bettany Hughes.

I like her and it should be good.

Anyone watched the first series of 'Vera' with Brenda Blethyn?
There's a new series coming soon.
Will keep you posted if interested.
