I know how you feel Viv but think of me - due to our marriage being a friendship thing and not a proper marriage I have a husband (we share the house a bit like flatmates) and a lover (I feel daft calling him a "boy"friend as we are both in our fifties!) and, wait for it, they are BOTH golf addicts. Tonight I have been up the pub on my  own having left both of them glued to their televisions!!

I was confused this week too due to DH missing from tv schedule. Searched & searched then discovered it was on a break.  What a pain especially as there has been a plane crash.  Who goes who stays.  Well I've found 1 that goes for sure but I won't give it away in case no-one else knows.
I don't mind the golf, but then I was brought up in a household of golfers.  Hubby enjoys watching but can't play for toffee.  Son tried and he couldn't play either.  It's the football that does my head in.  Especiallyif there's something on which I want to watch.  It means I have to record my stuff and then find a suitable time to catch up.  ARGH!

You lucky thing Taz- having your cake and eating it :o

My hubbie and I sat up in bed watching golf til midnight- then went off today to play golf with my "other chap" who is NOT my lover!

Programmes- love Shameless- nice and vulgar just like me!
Desperate housewives...I'm Lynette without the rampant fertility.
Loving True Blood- season 2 on FX. You can bite me any time, Boys...

Taz
That sound a bit complicated. At least the two men in my life are related lol. They both like watching and playing golf. They like watching snooker and most of all the Grand Pix. Thankfully this is a football free zone.
They take over the living room and I shut the door and let them get on with it.

I take it you are off to the pub again tonight. ;D ;D ;D

It can get complicated - I reckon I've ended up with two husbands!  ;D

Someone say pub? Football on at the moment in both houses so perhaps I'll sneak out now!

I do have another TV which is free view.  Unfortunately my progs are not on Freeview!  Hence having to record and I refuse to pay for sky in my spare room, it's just a rip off.  Son has Freeview on his TV too so no shortage of rooms to go & watch the telly.

Gosh the Internet is SLOW this morning  >:(

There's a new programme at 10.35 p.m. about people who hoard.  Jasmin [Place in the Sun Home or Away] is helping her Mum clear clutter - could be an interesting watch! if I can stay awake long enough .........

Sounds like something I would miss - would just remind me of the clutter I haven't even started to shift this summer holiday and I will be in the pub by then. Try to stay awake CLKD!  :)

Jasmin was on 'Lorraine' this morning, so I saw a bit of it.
Not much on the TV at the moment (except football), XFactor is back on Saturday, Spooks and Merlin in September.
What's your tipple when you go to the pub Taz?

White wine or orange juice depending on whether I am driving.

I've recorded that, Susan - it's by one of my favourite script-writers. It's on I-player for the rest of the week.

I watched the first 30 mins of it last night - great. Also enjoying "The Hour" although am a couple of episodes behind. I much prefer drama to the reality tv muck!
