Jay. I think it might well have been the first uk women's prison drama. I do remember an Australian I think it was cell block H  . Just remember the music "he used to bring me flowers" and it had it's own fan club.

I used to watch it avidly, could only have been young but then in those days, there was no swearing or sex, probably why I was allowed to watch it.
Watched the undateables last night,it's wonderful

There was a lady in it whose name I remembered in the early hours but it's gone now  :D

I haven't caught this series of the 'undatebalbes' but enjoyed the first couple.

I love undateablea too. I don't usually like those kind of programmes as sometimes feel they are taking the Mick. But I don't get that feeling from this one.
Did you see the Xmas one with the engagement  it was so heartwarming.

I agree tc,sometimes come across as patronising but not with this programme,I just watch it with a huge smile on my face and a lovely warm feeling, these people are remarkable & I love watching the follow ups to see if they're still together. I especially love the black couple who are so funny together & still are in love

I don't watch reality TV often.  But the Sat. Night programme to chose a dancer who will go to Strictly appears to be getting good.  I'm watching it because Otie is on the Panel and I don't think that she would put her name to something that she doesn't believe will work.

That little 7 year old earlier  8).  The idea is that the contestants dance behind a 2-way mirror which opens to the audience if they have voted for 75%.  It will be interesting to see how goes through to the final 9  :o.  It must be exhausting for the Panel ........

watching koalas on TV - can almost smell 'em  ;D - didn't now that they could move that fast or that they are vocal.  Not particularly good on the ground apparently .........

I'm happy to see Sewing Bee is coming back, it wasn't on last year. I enjoyed a programme that's been dropped now where potters made a different item every week. I just love craft programmes, and for some unknown reason fishing programmes, Ben Fogle presented one where they went all over the world fishing, I loved it  :)

BBC has shot itself in the foot for me this evening  :bang: both Les Mis and a story from people affected by the Holocaust on at the same time  :kick:  I know the end of Les Mis though  ;)
