2021 into 2022
« on: December 31, 2021, 03:28:51 PM »

I suppose that some countries are there already?

Little steps.  Keep sharing.  Any info is better than no info in this Journey.

Tnx for the smiles through the year.

Best wishes  :peace: xx

Same to you CLKD, all the best to everyone for the coming new year.  :) and the world can start to heal and come out of this mess in one piece.  There is uncertainty in my household right now so I'm not filled with hope at the moment.

Case counts up over 16,000 this morning. ::)

Due to the skyrocketing numbers of new cases, new restrictions for here were announced this morning. The hospitals are understaffed due to employees off with covid or contact isolation. So, as of Wednesday,  restaurants, theatres, cinemas, gyms, large arenas etc. will be closed, schools will not go back for at least another two weeks, further capacity limits in non-essential retail, indoor gatherings are limited to 5 vaccinated people, outdoor gatherings down to 10...for a least 3 weeks. The last week of the month the province will re-assess.

Here we go again... :-X

Sorry, wrong thread :-[

That's OK!  There is a suggestion that a 'fire break' will limit the spread of Omicron.  Time will tell. Probably.  Rates seem to be dropping here for the time being and hopefully, as with other 'flu-type viruses, this 1 will wear itself out.
