I recently increased my patches dosage from Progynova 50 ( it’s one patch a week) to Estradiol 75 mcg (twice a week regimen ). I initially was using one 100mg tablet vaginally every night, but that got a bit awkward vis-à-vis married life……..
so I switched to taking one tablet orally every night continuously on the advice of my gynaecologist. I had an endometrial scan and she said everything was fine. I’ve been on the increased estradiol for around 5 months and have had another scan and the radiographer casually said the lining of the womb was a little thickened but the GP phoned and left a message to say everything was fine. Should I be worried? Do I need to take more utrogestan , even for part of the month? I’m quite worried because the GPs seem impossible to get hold of nowadays.
