Would it be possible to get an mri and blood tests done on nhs first?
Perhaps you could write to the private Endo and tell them your concern re costs and ask for a full list of tests you would need prior to consultation?
Is the private Endo near you good? With so many doing zoom consultations now they don’t necessarily have to see you and it’s best you get the right one, not just one whose near. Just a thought....

QueenofReds3 I also have the constant pain under left rib, and I have seen a couple of others mention it too (in posts I can't find again now). I haven't had an explanation - so difficult to see a GP at the moment and when I do it is usually for something more pressing like repeat UTIs - but I did read this may be costochondritis, or inflammation of cartilage between the ribs.  Other posters on a different forum have mentioned that gallbladder may present there so worth asking your GP I expect.  If you get any answers I would love to hear them! I do hope things improve.

Thank you for your reply Kit14 . I have had this pain before the last time was 3 years ago. I saw two doctors , first said ‘You are not a alcoholic are you’? So I complained about him and saw another who said it could be inflammation and gave me antibiotics. My side pain has calmed down a little. I think it is anxiety. I still am still waking in early hours and feel very run down . I have contacted a endocrine specialist but my prolactin levels are normal.
I am still unsure what to do with the HRT, I do not know if it is the patches not working anymore or something else but my bloods are all okay. Xx

I’m sorry to hear that you’re still in a bad way at the moment. My heart goes out to you but rest assured tonight that so many of us have been there and are slowly seeing our way out of the maze and moving forward.
So take heart.
I’m just wondering if you’ve ever had your thyroid tested?
I’ve spend 4 years trying to get the hrt sorted and only now just been told I have thyroid issues.  No wonder I could never get a balance.
Please keep in touch with us all. xx

I was tested for Thyroid with the last set of bloods taken. All okay.
I am probably in some ways wrong but the anxiety, lack of energy has worsened since my booster. I can only manage to half of what I used to do. It is frustrating as something is not right but I am not sure what or how to go about sorting it, I am taking B12, a multi vit , hardly drink alcohol but still feel like I have been hit by a bus with aches all over , although legs are the worst part.
I am sure I will sort it one day.

How above low VitD levels?   Initially when the virus first struck it was suggested that we should all swallow an appropriate VitD capsule to boost immunity. When I had low levels I could hardly move, 20 mins. work then sat: for 2 hours  :-\

Some find that boosters etc. impact for longer than we would like.  Viruses after all do leave the body lacking energy.

Yes CLKD. What you are describing that you went through that’s me now. I am taking Vit D but forget some days. X
