Hi, how did you get on ? I have just been given Mirtazapine to replace fluoxetine so wondered how you got on with it.

Hi,
I have had chronic insomnia for almost 30 years. I’ve taken Mitrazipine as an occasional sleeper but not constantly. It is a brilliant sedative. For me it is more powerful at smaller doses so I take a half pill which is 15mg. I don’t get a groggy feeling the next morning but it makes me feel like eating so I take it when I’m in bed - away from the fridge!
I hope you get a good night of sleep soon.

I have been taking it now for 6 weeks and am getting on well. Sleeping great and anxiety is now pretty much gone. My appetite has increased a little but that was a good thing as I lost a lot with anxiety. But my weight has stabilised and of course I shall keep an eye on that.
