Painful legs keeping me awake
« on: March 17, 2021, 11:31:19 AM »

Morning Ladies

I'm on my 3rd week of Femseven Conti as advised by my Consultant. Anxiety improved as well as brain fog and light-headedness. However I'm struggling at night with heavy painful legs (both) of course my imagination is off the scale wondering if its blood clots  ::) ??

Anyone else had this ??

Hi! you've got some relief but now the painful legs.  Have you tried elevating them above your hip level?

What about pain relief within the hour of going to bed?  Is it mentioned on the leaflet?    If you put the product name into the search box and C what pops up?

Of course you're worry about clots.  How much exercise do you get, it's usually sitting around that causes clotting.

Hi CLKD

Many thanks for your response.

It's early days only 3 weeks on Femseven Conti so I think its probably side effects. I seem to be a little bloated esp thighs which may be the reason for achy legs. Will see how it goes over the next few weeks.

Get them elevated when possible?  Stops any pooling of water.

Its just the joint pain and aching legs causing me problems.

Once I've collected the car from the garage where it's for it's MOT, and home, I will be OK again.  Generally though, tottering along gently ;-).  :thankyou:

Hi CLKD

Still having joint pain especially in my hips and a little in both knees. Although not as bad, still can't sleep as it stops me from lying on y side. It's still early days on new HRT patch (week 5) and having some other side effects like puffy tum/thighs which I think is fluid. Some annoying VA symptoms and insomnia. Hot flushes better ;). Will stick with it and hope all settles.

Hope all is well with you Wx

Fine thus far today  :thankyou:

I can't remember if you have tried appropriate VA treatment, but I found it really useful.  4 me it was like razor blades  :o up there!
