If you consulted the doc initially due to the bleeding issues then go by what the doc said re how long to give it? If you just changed dose yourself then I would get checked out to be on the safe side. Taken vaginally you may find better control of the bleeding but most of us refer not to take it continuously like this for obvious reasons - if in a relationship.
