I excelled myself yesterday  ::)

Himself cut me half a Pakistani mango the day before and put the remains plus stone on a plate into the fridge. Apparently: he got the remains out for his lunch yesterday but I saw a plate + stone and not realising that there was fresh mango under the stone ........  :whist:  put it into the bin  :o

He walked backwards and forwards from kitchen to lounge about 3 times muttering I'm sure I had a mango and eventually I twigged  :-X

I searched for my house phone for ages, I was cursing quite loudly and just could not find it and then suddenly realised I had it pressed against my ear with my shoulder !!

Have filled the tea caddy with sugar on a few occasions lately.

This morning completely forgot how to copy and paste

Went to the cash machine yesterday and put my card in.
It said which language so I pressed the union jack and thought hmmm
they must have changed the machine.
I put my pin in and then the amount I wanted.
It then said cannot give you cash from here :-\
Errr! looked up at the sign on the machine but it was the same one I always use.
Went to put my card in again and realised it was my sainburys nectar reward card  ::)
My daughter thought this was hilarious.
Why do I always do these Stupid Things when I'm with my daughter.
She has another story to tell her mates, about her meno brained mum :-\

I've just been to lunch with my work colleagues.  Had to leave early as I had a meeting, which i told everyone.  One of my colleagues has just returned and I said to her "Oh I'm sorry did I forget to wait for you?  She looked at me in an odd expression and said no you had a meeting :o She said you are loosing the plot :o

Went to the post office yesterday to post a parcel.
Took my purse out of my bag and put it under my arm, while the assistant was weighing the parcel.
When she came back I was rooting around in my bag looking for my purse and getting anxious because I couldn't find it.
I said to the lady" I think my purse must have fallen out in the car"
She looked at me and pointed to my arm.
I felt such a fool but being of a similar age she understood and we ended up having a laugh about it.
She said that when she was younger and ladies use to talk about doing these "stupid things" she thought what a load of rubbish. ;D

I was going out yesterday, I was stood by the car pressing the open door button, I could hear the car clicking to open but nothing was happening. Several minutes later I realised I had my sons car keys and it was his car that was opening. (I wouldn't mind but I've done it before so you'd think I'd have realised sooner).  ::)

Cant believe what I did today...went to the dentist to have a crown refitted as it fell out last week, sat in the chair, dental nurse mixed cement...dentist said right pass me your tooth so I can clean it and check for fitting...you've guessed it I forgot to take my tooth with me...I was so embarrassed I couldn't get out of the surgery quick enough  :-[

I was charged £17-50 for my embarrassment and given another appointment for refitting next wk.

It wasn't till i got home that i remembered putting my crown in a safe place...but i cant remember for the life of me were that safe place is.

Cant bring myself to tell anyone at home because they already think I'm gaga  :beat:

Hope my secrets safe with with you ladies.
