Then tonight went to car park to get my car after work stood by the door and thought some b......4da stolen my crook lock ,then realised my car was two bays over ! Well it was a small, silver car like mine quite understandable really .

I drove to the local garage, went to pay for the fuel and could not find my purse... nor my handbag bag! I left my watch with the cashier (who recognised me) to ensure I would be back to pay for the fuel and found my handbag (fully in tact) was on the driveway of my house!    :-\   That's just one of many moments :)

Left on the roof of the car then?  Did that with reading specs. at a garden centre, never saw them again!  I had thought 'that's not a good place to put them'  :-\

In Church today stood up too fast and thought I was going to faint  :o

:(  Sorry to hear that.  I hope you are feeling OK now. I have only ever fainted once in my life and it happened to be at a music gig.  Luckily, I was leaning against something quite solid so just slid down and then tried to disguise the fact I had no idea what had happened.  I often go alone so thank goodness I had a girlfriend with me on this occasion.

Once the end of the Service was close I began to feel OK again and the Church door was ajar.

That's why I sit at the back of things. Except for the last funeral was at. Hubby informed me my sister needed me and marched me down the front....I was fine.

Glad you were ok CLKD...it's amazing what we can do when we have to. Well done you....oh and enjoy your view.

Went down to London last Sunday, straight after playing for the morning's service.  Going for the 1.30pm train.  Took the bus from near the church, into town.  Had about 40 minutes to kill, so went into M&S to get some tights.  Didn't get any sandwiches in there, because I wanted to get something from the station.  Came out of M&S and walked down into the station.  It was just after 12.55.  Thought I'd get my ticket out and check which number my seat was.   :o  Saw I was booked on the 1pm train, not the 1.30pm!!!   Did my impersonation of a Bat Out of Hell, ran one to one platform, then another and eventually got the right one.  Zoomed right down the platform and just made it into the carriage B, as the guard was blowing his whistle.   Found my seat and sat down, sweating and huffing and puffing.   Couldn't get my planned station sandwiches, that's for sure, so got some rather unexciting ones from the train trolley, half an hour later......................Well, at least I'd had plenty of time after the service and then a nice relaxed stroll through town!.............................. ::) ;D

;D....glad your legs still do the bat out of hell impression.

When I used to travel by train....not a huge distance, they always used to have three trains going to different places but on the same platform....the amount of times I got on the wrong train....oh and if I made the right one I used to fall asleep and miss my stop.

Glad you made it Dulciana....bet it took you half the journey to recover  ::)

I do sympathise.   I keep doing stuff like that.   I came belting home one day convinced I'd left the back door wide open when I hadn't and as for tearful....

I keep hoping it will all go away

Nearly:  :o - was talking to DH earlier today and about to fill the powder drawer in the washing machine, scoop filled:  turned head towards DH and his mouth was wide open/shut but the words "drawer isn't open" wouldn't come out  ;D.  Fortunately I realised ……. disaster averted.
