Hi. Really struggling starting femoston 1/10. Nausea is bad, but worst of all I'm very very woozy.

I'm just wondering if I could cut in half. Obviously I would cut all tablets in half, which would cut the prog too. I know cutting is not an exact science, but I'm thinking as femoston 1/10 has same amount of prog as 2/10...i'd be getting plenty anyway 🤔. I'd ask my GP, but I'm pretty sure she won't know 🤷‍♀️

I'm only 44...

Anyone? Day 11 and sooo woozy with bad nausea. The nausea comes from the wooziness rather than my stomach. So not convinced tablet form is the issue, more the concentration of estrogen...

Aside from these symptoms I feel good. Well, as good as u can with these horrific feelings...

Hi.
I've cut them before. Mine were the conti version.
I used to get terrible bad stomachs at the beginning, bloating, wind, neausea.
I used everything to get rid of it, but it does settle down. Eventually.
Even now, I split my dose up, one morning one night, just to stop any upset stomach forming, and it stops me having to battle the tiredness.
Hopefully it'll all settle down for you, if you do cut them, only do it for a short time, then introduce the full amount, it might be then, your body will except them better.

I'm kind of thinking maybe I don't need this much estrogen. I'm only 44. Did notice there is a lower dose patch. Perhaps I'll try cutting then. I'm coming up to the prog stage though, so maybe I should try that first. Or maybe just go for it. Should still be enough prog since it's same prog on the 2mg... So clearly a lot for a 1mg tablet.

I agree. It is a nightmare. I've soe t the last year trying different Combined pills... Got bad side affects with all. Hey ho... Keep trying.

Yes I agree totally.
You probably only need a tiny amount.
I would still ring the doctor tho and ask for a lower dose of something. Just to be safe.
Have a scout around on here and see what's available.

Thanks. I notice femoston conti comes in a 0.5mg, so I feel better about trying halving them.

I can't stay like this, I'm spaced out to hell. Not grumpy though 🤣🤣🤣

I'll check with my gp next week, she might ask meno clinic for advice. By then I guess I'll know if half tablet is any better.

The whole things got me thinking maybe I'm actually high on estrogen, but I doubt it as I was terrible on prog only pill a d my periods are very light together with tons of other symptoms. What a nightmare indeed.
