Sagan didnt start yesterday a combination of a  sore knee and the Tokyo olympics coming up. I think if the riders are going to the olympics and are out of the running at the TDF more are going leave.

I havent seen Didi yet, is he there ?

A couple of times during the 1st week but not since .............

I think that if they are going to another Event, they shouldn't be on le Tour ! although it is probably a good training : I also don't believe that the Olympics should take place and can't understand any1 wanting to participate.

There was talk last week between Ned and David about making the Grand Tours more green  ;D.  Then U see all the support vehicles, the Team coaches, the travelling between stages, the entourage prior to each Stage .......... the easiest way to make the Tours green would be to stay at home and ZOOM it all  ::)

Feeding - 'G'

training - between November and June slowly chisels his weight down with fish, salad, vegetables, quinoa and hog-fibred rice and pasta.  Healthy fats from avocados, salmon and olive oil gives extra energy and supports the immune system

pre-race dinner salmon with low-fibre, easy2digest white rice.  Breakfast [this gets to me  ;D] ham omelette, bread and honey, fruit and yoghurt, porridge or muesli (I'm done already ) fruit smoothing and an espresso.  Add to that B4 a mountain stage, pasta or rice ........ PHEW!  That would last me a week  :o and he hasn't done yet.

mid-race consumes two 500ml bottles of energy drinks or water per hour.  Snackes every half an hour, aiming for 60-90g of carbs per hour.  Rice cakes, flapjacks and panini followed to softer energy bars and gels.

post race recovery shake immediately, a bowl of tuna and rice or quinoa and chicken.  Dinner chicken and rice or pork rags with pasta.  With broccoli or beetroot salad.  During 3 week le Tour he will consume around 21kg of energising white rice.

PHEW++. It can't do riders guts any good over a long period of time ...........  :-\

He enjoys a 🍺 / 🍻 with his mates 'off season' as well as Welsh cakes ;-)

Well that's Lewis home: now it's up to Cav not to fall off in Paris !

He didn't fall off but carried the green jersey to 3rd - considering he wasn't even on le Tour until 3.5 weeks ago .........  8)

G had to abandon after a crash, probably due to the after effects of those during le Tour?  Good result over all though.

I Cav in Japan?  I can't remember.
