Grrr,,thought those pesky hot flushes had gone with HRT...
« on: October 20, 2020, 07:34:36 AM »

I am on utrogeston 100 tablest and estrodot 25 patches, been on since March...not overkeen on the tablet as a few side effects but got used to them as doctor won't change it.  Lately I have started to feel "warm" again.  Then this morning...jeez....a mega ****ly hot flush...one of those pesky  burning  ones where you feel on FIRE and your face goes red..in facet I literally thought the end of my nose was burning off! (so that'll be good for my newly developed rosacea! ) :-\
All I can say is..thank god I hadn't gone to work and it happened at home!

25 is a low dose, you may have to increase it if your symptoms are returning.

I agree with Sheila. 25 is low and you maybe need to increase to 50 to control flushes. I was started on 50.

I'm lucky with my surgery as we have the e-consult facility. It works really well. Hope you get through!
