Utrogestan dosage - the plot thickens!

Just another thought - it seems most people on the forum seem to prefer to choose the sequential utrogestan rather than the 25 day option. Yet if you add up the utrogestan taken it comes to virtually the same amount, ie 12 lots of 200 =2400 or 25 lots of 100 = 2500. So - better to have a shorter burst at double the dose but then a gap for it to leave your system -- or -- half the dose so half as much in your body but for twice the length of time??
I can't find any debate on this.

Hi I believe the difference in the way you take Utrogestan depends if you are post or peri menopausal . Up to date advice is to take Utrogestan every day if you are post menopausal, not 25 out of 28 days. X

Unless you have a reason not to. I get tired on it so will continue on sequi when I'm meno but on a long cycle. It's important to use a sequi regime in peri so you have a proper bleed, in meno you can choose.
