Yes I did, we have to tie the feeders on because the magpies lift them off the stand and drop them on the floor then go down and fill their boots >:(  think they've realised there's no easy meal here 8)

Oh yes,the crows used to do this to ours too,or simply stand on top of the feeder, slide down the arm, pick up the feeder and continually bang it so the sunflower hearts would spill all over the ground,I'd admire them if they didn't pee me off so much  ;D but we've won the battle so far, they've been up on the fence and you can see them trying to figure it out but the whole feeder is encased in a cage now, with a drop down door at the front so I can fill up the feeders yay  ;D

Hedgehog spent most of the night at the door of it's box.  Scratching  :o.  It did have a wander several times, I threw out small dried cat food pellets yesterday and it found plenty of those.

This morning I threw out live meals worms, 1 starling squawked and lots flew down  >:(.  Talk about a look-out!

I'll send my little cat round, Jaypo. She's a fantastic mole catcher. Chicks are still going strong, thankfully.

Tnx for the chicken up date - appropriate for Spring  :-*

My dog caught moles but would hand them to me for despatch.

Loads of bird activity in the garden this afternoon. Blue tits were wrestling bits of sheep's wool that I'd put on some  branches , to line their nests
