It was a dreadful finish
4 Ride London and the 'winner' was disqualified. Quite rightly so.
Tour of Poland -
Mark Cavendish (Dimension Data) was looking to turn his year around after being omitted from the South African team's Tour de France line-up but crashed with 3.5km to go. The Manxman got back on his bike, seemingly unscathed, but would not contest the bunch sprint.
Alaphilippe was the favourite at the start of the day to defend his title at San Sebastian, having beaten Bauke Mollema (Trek-Segafredo) in a sprint finish at the 2018 edition of the race.
The reason for Alaphilippe's abandon is not yet known, and may allow his young Belgian team-mate Remco Evenepoel the opportunity to take the race on, with Deceuninck – Quick-Step arriving in San Sebastian with a strong line-up including Dries Devenyns and Enric Mas.

I've read a tweet from Lotto, think one of their riders has died after a crash in the Tour of Poland

Oh wow, that's terrible.
Fortunately it's very rare but no less shocking.

It's a dangerous thing, this cycling. Crashes are worse because they are clipped in.
Next year's RideLondon applications are open - up to 80,000 or until January which ever comes first.

I looked at the team Ineos line up for the Vuelta, not sure which rider is the GC contender
I need to go and look at the routes for both races, I probably did when they were announced but have forgotten now

I take it that's for Tour of Britain? Don't you get e-mail updates? I know that they are going through Burton Dassett Park, might try to get there.
