I think Geraint has been like a big brother to Bernal today, looking after him  :)

I wonder if Geraint will race in the Vuelta ? It's not a race I watch every minute of, the scenery is pretty boring some years, just dry and parched land, but if Geraint was in it I would  ;)

It will be live on Eurosport.

If you can't get it on your TV you can always sign up and watch on your laptop.  ;)

This country isn't huge, we have had a lovely sunny week here.  Watching the news showing the rain in northern England its unbelievable, very frightening if you live near the reservoir with the damage  :o  At least the organisers have time to alter the route of the cycling.

Saw a photo of how it is now and how it had looked during the Tour de France 4 years ago. Didn't know about the race in September  though.

I have just got round to getting my bike serviced and also got a new saddle with more cushion on it. Have just ridden home on it but that is a very short ride. Will hopefully  try it properly tomorrow. Also got a new speedometer as the old one had died.

Ride London on NOW!
I didn't hear about that until too late and haven't registered. Also I can't  easily get my bike into Central London tomorrow. The Overground train service is suspended this weekend and I can't take a bike on the tube from here.
