Scored an own-goal apparently. It was a 'police man' who sprayed into the wind: aren't men told not to pee against the wind !

Race is speeding away, through a bit of rain and it's really a battle now.

Seen one of the girls cycling on top of her camper van - where's she been all week ?

Hot there.  Sagan struggling  :'(

The Devil is there too.  I think that someone has a template as there have been very well drawn cycles on the tarmac .........

A few years ago we drove up the climbs they are cycling up today, the drops over the side were very scary  :o we went up a few days before the road was closed, if I remember it was closed 48 hours before the race. Apart from the drops over the side I remember the cheeky donkeys that went from campervan to campervan looking for food  ;D

Roll on Monday  :o .......... I've slept most of the afternoon.  Can't stand the suspense  ;D.  Woke as they came into 5km to go.  WHAT a finish but apparently there's now discussion about the Press Motorcycle giving a 'tow'.

Geraint has no light in his eyes.  Very little reaction, the smile doesn't reach his cheeks ........ whether it's due to thinking deeply about the Tour ??  hopefully by Paris the smile will reach his whole face.

I don't think people can imagine how much of a toll the tour takes physically and mentally, in the three weeks some of the riders look like they've aged, their faces are haggard and they look so skinny or covered in bandages. How some riders can do more than one three week race a season amazes me  ???

By now I can't say I'm surprised that the riders are a bit "off" especially the yellow jersey wearer because they have to attend the press conferences after an almost 6 hour ride.

I'm hoping that Geraint can hold on tomorrow, I'm not sure if I'll be able to watch, I wasn't sure Sagan was going to make the time limit today, I think he's hiding how injured he really is  :o

Oh Peter did get through then ......... it would such a shame if he didn't.

Watching hi-lights to see what I missed this afternoon.  They do it a) because they can and b) for money.  Obsession?  They certainly don't enjoy the scenery nor do they be aware of the supporting flags on the road sides.  I think that they get a general 'lift' from the noise from the crowds though.  Did U see the girl on the VW today?  Wonder where her sister might be, probably in College somewhere  ::)

Tour of Britain soon.   :)
