Mucus in throat
« on: March 01, 2020, 03:48:06 AM »

Hi all.
How common is this symptom and what did you do to treat it? For the last couple of days, I am clearing my throat a lot. I have no other symptoms.

Sounds like post nasal drip. There are lots of threads on this condition.  Put it in the "search" and you'll find them.

I have this and it could be the cause of my ongoing sore throat.

Googling yesterday, I found and old thread from this forum in 2015.  The poster had an ENT appointment and was told that is can be caused by the menopause. Dry throat, phlegmy throat

My nose has been dry and sore on and off for the past two years, I have only just joined this up to menopause, as until a few months ago I had no other symptoms.

Hi Yellowflower.  I've noticed I have this but only recently and have found that when I stop my HRT, it goes, so I thought it was something in the HRT that was causing it.  it's horrible and I keep thinking it must be affecting my breath, although no one has told me my breath smells 😏
