Real brain fog and headaches. Felt much sharper for couple of weeks then sudden bladder weakness/leaking. I am thinking going back on it now and trying to manage headaches as its quite distressing. Thank you.

I have found testosterone helped 'down there'. I had to do pelvic floor exercises since giving birth early 40s to avoid leaking, but since being on testosterone I haven't had to them, presumably it has improved muscle tone. I don't have a prolapse but might be worth trying. You need to try any hrt for 3 months as it takes time to settle.

Was it a sequi or conti hrt? As you're peri it should be sequi but it's useful to use it that way as you'll know if you feel bad on the progesterone phase. As has been said it's usually the prog that's a problem so would be worth trying a different one if it is. For me brain fog was caused by lack of oestrogen not the hrt.

I have replied on one of your other threads but the gist of it is that if you have a prolapse then HRT is usually recommended by gynaes to try to keep your prolapse at bay as long as possible. I had to come off HRT due to reaching 60 and within months my mild prolapses worsened leading to a hysterectomy. I'd definitely restart HRT and ask to be referred to a pelvic floor specialist team/ clinic for proper assessment.

Birdy can I ask what your pelvic therapist did with you? I've been diagnosed the same, given exercises to relax the pelvic floor but it doesn't seem to be helping me.
I've chronic inflammation of my bladder.

When I had a cystoscopy three years ago I was told my pelvic floor was ridiculously tight.

How long did it take for you to notice healing of your bladder symptoms?
Sorry for the many questions!!
