Welcome to the forum. You'll find us a friendly bunch.

Can you explain a little further what medication you have been given? X

Maybe make a note of symptoms/food/exercise for a few weeks to see if there is a pattern?

Don't blame menopause on every symptom.  Maybe your tiredness is caused by low VitD levels?

How is your diet over all, exercise regime?

Elleste Duet 1mg is what we have given me as all the patches were out of stock.
Fingers crossed im still employed
My motivation has gone.
How did you all cope with no.sleep, early starts and caring responsibilities without ripping someone's head off or crying.

Thanks all for the welcome.

I ate whippets I did ;-).  I got so that I could warn people that I was about to blow.  Depending on your job maybe there is a support for menopause?  Maybe speak to someone at work and discuss ........... ask for help with your work-load?

It takes time to work. My anxiety and insomnia took 3 months. I also needed testosterone to improve low mood and lethargy but you need to be stable on oestrogen first. Prog can make you tired (I'm on utro) so if you see no improvement it might be worth trying a sequential hrt instead of continuous, and you may find you need a higher dose of oestrogen.
Have you had your thyroid checked? That can make you tired too.
And get a nice loud alarm clock!

Sorry about your job but it's 1 thing less to stress about.

Make a note of your CV and decide which skills you are good at.  At least you R feeling better and this time of year can cause upheaval for many people.

Your GP can give medication to ease heavy periods.

I am knew to this too :-\ I am soooo struggling with the Hot flushes, having them every 30mins, no sleep for past 2months, mood very ow I used to be on Premarin but my blood pressure went sky high so took myself off them. Now on Ramipril 5mg but considering going back on the Premarin again, my Gp is hopeless, I am just frightend of just delaying the symptoms as you can't stay on it forever, so will they just come back more sever than ever!!!!

Hi Lisadec,  :welcomemm:

You can stay on HRT for as long as you like. How about trying a transdermal product such as gel or patch? They are generally considered "safer" than oral preparations.
