Hi everyone, just wanted to share my experience of using Sage for post menopause.

I'm now on day three of taking sage tablets and my digestive bloating and reflux seem to have miraculously disappeared.. Along with it that the palps have eased too. Now I don't no whether this is down to taking sage or just a coincidence with the drop off of Vagifem. But interesting non the less..

Has anyone else tried sage with positive results?

My mum took sage for years but for the life of my I can't remember why. It might have been BP.  It must have helped because she stuck with it.  Unfortunately she use to make sage tea which was utterly 🤢 disgusting.

I'm going to try this. It's my favourite herb, taste wise, and I read that the herb flavours that attract you are a sign that your body will take well to it.

I've now missed my first period (Day 61) and all the high oestrogen symptoms I've has for 4-5 years have calmed down noticeably, no more painful breasts and nausea. Also now getting proper hot flushes, about 10 a day, which don't bother me as they just make me feel very hot as opposed to unwell and only last for minutes.

I could easily put up with the flushes but will try the sage as it can also help with digestion and has very good reviews on Amazon (Vogel one).

I'll report back.

Hi Traci,

Sage has definitely helped my hot flushes over perimenoupause.  I have no doubt about this but it may be different for others ? Do give it a go and see if it helps. I used Vogel but found other brands also as effective ..

Tracey E has been around for quite a long time. She recently changed her name to Traci.  I think she explained why she was leaving in another thread - can't remember which one - but I think there was a misunderstanding about things that some members were saying and several of us suggested she came back. Maybe she will return under a different identity - that happens quite regularly.

Er...there is, of course.... no-one suggested otherwise! I was just letting you know that there was nothing really untoward and then a hope expressed to her, that she (Tracey E that is  ) might wish to return.
